Joanie Johnson Office Manager, Realtor®
Joanie is a lifelong Pacific Northwest resident who brings warmth, availability, and genuine care to every person she works with. Growing up in Oak Harbor and living in Skagit Valley for over 20 years with her husband and kids, she has deep roots in this community and understands what it means to build a life here.
Before becoming a real estate agent, Joanie worked in retail as a store manager for an artisan smoked salmon company in Anacortes—a role that shaped her customer-first approach and strong communication skills. She chose real estate as a natural next step: a profession that could challenge her and grow alongside her as her life evolved. Today, her goal is simple: help her clients feel confident they're making the best decision for themselves and their families.
Joanie is known for her relationship-based approach. She loves hearing people's stories and understanding where they are in their season of life. Her clients consistently thank her for her availability, responsiveness, and comfortable, no-pressure style. Whether you're a first-time buyer, a seasoned investor, or somewhere in between, she brings the same thoughtful attention to your needs.
Beyond her work with clients, Joanie serves as Office Manager at Brown McMillen, where her penchant for tidiness, organization, and genuine care keeps the office running smoothly. She's deeply committed to the Brown McMillen team and values the family-like culture that makes this office special.
When she's not helping clients or managing the office, Joanie enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, reading, decorating, traveling, and camping—doing life at a pace that feels sustainable and joyful.
